Boot ROM Chip for the Linksys LNE100TX v2.0 10/100 Mbps.
This chip is programmed to enable the network board to boot a Linux kernel from a server. The chip is designed for Linksys LNE100TX v2.0 network boards, having a 28 pin socket. Simply inserting this chip into the bootrom socket will enable the bootrom. When you boot up the workstation, it will begin broadcasting for a DHCP and then a bootp server.
